Camp Day Overview

Step 1
Morning: Check-In & Design
Before care students arrive at 8:00 AM. Regular camp check-in begins at 9:00 AM, diving straight into team introductions and the first structural engineering build of the day.

Step 2
Mid-Day: Code & Test
After a lunch break, students transition into programming. Using block-based VEXcode, teams bring their robots to life to solve automated challenges.

Step 3
Afternoon: Showcase & Pick-up
Standard pick-up is at 3:00 PM following final testing. Students registered for after care transition to supervised free-build projects until 5:00 PM.

Who can attend the camp?
Students in Grades 1–8 are welcome.

Does my child need previous robotics experience?
No. Beginners are welcome and no prior robotics or programming experience is required.
What activities will students participate in?
VEX GO, VEX IQ, LEGO robotics, block-based coding, mechanical engineering builds, and team challenges.
What should my child bring?
A nut-free lunch, two nut-free snacks, and a water bottle. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
All robotics equipment is provided.
Is extended care available?
Before care runs 8:00–9:00 AM for $10. After care runs 3:00–5:00 PM for $20. The combined care bundle costs $25 per child.
How much does the camp cost?
Regular tuition is $130 per child. Early-bird registration is $110 through October 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central Time.

Can I register multiple children?
Yes. A parent or guardian may register up to three children in one checkout, with separate extended-care selections for each child.
How is registration confirmed?
Registration is confirmed after successful payment. A confirmation email is sent to the parent or guardian.
How is student safety handled?
STEMatics Academy follows its student conduct and supervision procedures.
Students are released only to a parent, guardian, or authorized pickup person identified during registration.
What is the cancellation or transfer policy?
Transfers between STEMatics Academy programs are allowed at no charge, subject to availability.
Cancellations received by October 27, 2026, 11:59 PM Central Time qualify for a credit voucher for the full amount paid.
